Matthias holds a BA in International Relations from TU Dresden and an MA in International Political Economy from the University of Warwick (UK). He has been working in science management since 2008, first at the School of International Studies at TU Dresden and since 2012 at the University of Duisburg-Essen where he was Managing Director of the Käte Hamburger Kolleg/Centre for Global Cooperation Research before joining c:o/re in May 2023.
