     Historicizing STS and STS-HUB.DE "Circulations"     

On March 14th to 15th, 2023 the c:o/re workshop "Turning Points in Reflections on Science and Technology: Towards Historicizing STS" will take place in the lecture hall of c:o/re at Theaterstraße 75, Aachen. The workshop is followed by an international STS Hub themed "Circulations" on March 15th to 17th, 2023, at the C.A.R.L. Aachen.

     Summer Lectures Series on "Complexity"     

On April 12th, 2023 Giora Horn from the University of Haifa will start off this summer term's c:o/re lecture series. We will continue every two weeks with new, intriguing talks by Jan C. Schmidt, Benjamin Peters, Klaus Mainzer, Clarissa Lee, Kyveli Mavrokordopoulou and Arianna Borrelli.

     New Fellow Joins c:o/re     

We are happy to announce that Dr. Jianqing Chen will be working at c:o/re as a Junior Fellow from March till August 2023. She is Assistant Professor of East Asian Languages and Cultures, as well as Film and Media Studies at Washington University, St. Louis.

     Call for Track-Topics and Formats: "Politics of the Machines" (PoM)     

Currently, we are taking in track-topics and formats for the 4th PoM conference, which will be held on April 22nd to 26th, 2024 in Aachen. The deadline for the call is on April 1st, 2023. After this deadline has closed, the call for individual papers will be opened. The 4th PoM is dedicated to discussing "Lifelikeness and beyond".
